February on the Big Island

February was extremely rainy on the Big Island, so progress was slow but steady.

Walls formed for the compost building.

Footings poured for the parlor.

With the footings poured, you can now see the "footprint" of the milking parlor.

Things began changing quickly, the end of February, as erection crews arrived.

Steel erection begins on the freestall building.

Curb poured by the Gomaco crew.

Walls of the parlor being poured with a concrete pumper.

Front of parlor....aftermath of rainstorm in the foreground.

Gomaco crew pouring curb.

Inside of parlor.

Completed commodity shed.

Milking parlor.

The three notches in the far side of the parlor are the lower
part of the three windows in the upstairs, office area.
